Niniane, I think we not only have to go hairtoy shopping together, but bra shopping too! That store sounds great! Just let me wean the baby first

I just measured myself according to these instructions: http://www.afraidtoask.com/breast/br...suringcup.html

My ribcage is 32, which makes my bra size a 36, and my over-bust measurement is 37. That would make me a 36A or 36B, but any time I've tried a B cup it fits the smaller side perfectly and I spill out of the larger one Wah!!!!!!!!

I think that chest measurment(band size)- going up 4 or 5 is too much. Everytime I have been fitted with that measurement method the band size was too big.
Going up 2 from the measurment, and then counting cup measurement from there- I think is more accurate.

Dulci, re: microfiber vs. cotton in Texas summers . . . I like microfiber bras. I also own some cotton bras. If I'm going to be outside (and sweating) I'll pick the cotton handsdown. It absorbs the sweat whereas the microfiber doesn't.

Just my twocents.

I'm glad I didn't toss my cotton bras then! I need to find some prettier ones though...

That would make me a 34D then

Actually 34C , your breast measurement is 37, count from 34- thats three.

A 36B is a 34C- the band is one size smaller and the cup a little bigger. You said the B fits perfect on one side but your bigger on the other- you might try a D for the other side.
If 34 band is too tight- then you might go to a 36C

Gah! I tried that site. I got a measurement of 30 (ribcage) and 33 (breast). It told me I don't need a bra. I don't know whether to be pissed or delighted.
Anyhoo, I now hate my bosoms.

I don't really have a favourite 'brand'. It's just whatever fits that I can buy. Which isn't much. So, my favourites right now are some (I have three...heh) Wacoal strapless bras in a 36DD. Not quite the right size, but it's as close as I've been able to get. 36DD is my 'cheating' size, which isn't working as well the last year or so (lost some weight...gah).

Truly, I don't know what size I would really wear...probably a 30F (or G? something...give or take a size in both the cup and band) with a 2" extender. That might fit, but I've never been able to try one on, so...don't know.

I went to Dillard's last night and found the most ADORABLE demi bra. It's white with pastel flowering. Looks very uncomfortable, but actually didn't leave marks that all other bras have left on me.
