Finally got around to doing a patch test last night with the ako, no reaction by this morning so i put it on. I like how silky it feels and even on dry skin it only took 20-30 minutes to fully soak in. Will put it on tonight after i shower see if i like it better on damp skin.

So far so good ! It does work better if i put it on damp skin after my shower then doing it durring the day but i add a bit more to my drier spots when i get up and it soaks in fast enough to not be an issue most of the time.

The atmosphere has been super funky here which is messing with my skin and hair so its hard to get a good read. Ive only had one pimple pop up since using it it but it was forming anyway dang hormones. I am interested to see how my skin fares with it through my cycle since i generally get flakier and break out more.

Hows it going for you?

I still like it. Flawless skin is still well over the horizon, but it's improved a lot. It hasn't even fallen apart due to the total lack of humidity in my room at the minute, though I'm not sure if that the ako or the shea butter or the combination of the two. Either way, it's cheap and it seems to be working a lot better than any moisturiser I've ever used so I won't complain.

Thats great! Ive been having a lack of humidity issue as well. But ive been drying my laundry in my room which solved that and then some rain set in so i think im good for now.

I got my retinol perscription renewed so im thinking of starting to add that back in. If i get brave i'll do spot treatment with it tonight and skip my usual 5% glcolic and go with straight ako on top. I figure at least if i peel it will be the weekend and it can have time to heal before i have to see anyone.

I've been lining the radiator with bowls of water. Drying laundry in here makes it very difficult to move around the room and I'm a clumsy fool so I have a tendency to trip over it and knock it all over. Could do with some of those things that hang over the radiators to dry stuff on, radiators seem to be the only things I don't routinely walk into...
