![]() This was mentioned in another thread but I thought maybe we should have a seperate thread to avoid thread hijack!
How do you apply your foundation/BB cream? I use an Ecotools retractable foundation brush to apply Skin79 BB cream. I used to use my fingers but prefer a brush because it gives a more even finish and is less messy. Oh and I use the brush dry. |

![]() I use a liquid foundation right now & I apply it with a stippling/flat-top brush.
I wish BB creams worked for me but all the ones I've tried have either been too cool-toned, too dark, or they break me out. I really need to find a new foundation, mine is just too heavy, but it's just so tricky finding 'the one'! |

![]() Sometimes I use my fingers. Well most of the time really. Sometimes I use a foundation brush or the stippling brush and sometimes a cosmetic sponge. It kind of depends on how much time I have and how much I want to play. If I'm playing around with my make up that day, I will very likely use a brush.

![]() I use a dense, flat-headed powder brush to 'stipple' it on. I realise stippling brushes are, y'know, actually made for stippling, but somehow I never seem to get the right effect with them- so my trusty re purposed powder brush it is!

![]() I apply with a damp sponge. I'm really loving this method at the moment.
If I ever find a stipling or flat top brush in the store I would like to try it. |

![]() I use my Ecotools retractable foundation brush and then the Ecotools foundation stippling brush to blend.

![]() I usually use clean fingers. I have a 2 year old and little time when I actually wear makeup. For the most part I'm clean faced though.

I use the same foundation brush as you but no stippling brush - do you find it makes a big difference to the finish? I use BB cream only |

![]() I spread it around with a paddle shaped foundation brush then pounce with a very soft domed dual fibre brush to smooth and kill brushstrokes.
