Cool Popping in...

Oh, my gosh this is like a welcome home party!

Wow, I feel so bright and sunshiney with all of these
warm and welcome posts, thank you all so much!

Greetings, greetings to all of the friendly folks I've never
met, but look forward to knowing. For all the friends I've
known and drifted far from, I'm so excited to see you, to
feel your hugs!

Jeez, am I having an Oprah moment or what?

Lisa Janey, you are like warm and fuzzy slippers, lady. When
I saw your post, I slipped right into them and let out a sigh.
I felt like I was home again.

SilverDeb, very nice to know that you and I will travel the
journey back to long hair together, and both in our forties!

Ycelong, Scarlet and Xandergrammy, very nice to meet you!

Harpgal, your hair photo, how beautiful!

Betty! I sure have missed your always adorable pictures
and friendliness! Always a burst of sunshine!

Flaxen, too! Oh my gosh, how nice to see you! You said
you hoped I would be filled with renewed enthusiasm. Trust
me, after the first page of this thread, I jumped back in head
over heels.

Chamo, oh, see, all these wonderful names!

David, it is very nice to meet you!

Device, Dvips, of course I remember you, and how neat that
when I saw your icon, I immediately remembered! I just knew
that cartoon anywhere!

Dancing, a braid like that, I would hope you grabbed the
scissors only to make paper dolls, young lady! While I
once posted the cyber scissors, I now have a new tool to
use for those tempted to do what I just did. Over the weekend
I hope to show you.

Clytem, very nice to see you! Wow, so many have cut back
to waist. If you are growing back again, it's nice to have company.
We'll travel the road together.

Thank you all, each and every single one of you on this thread
for such a wonderful welcome back.

Big group hug to all!

Karen Marie

Cool Ugly feet...

Aw, Dev, I wish. My problem is genetic, though.

Hello Karen Marie! Welcome!
I've been wondering where and how you've been!
You most likely don't know me, but it was your site Stressless Tresses that led me to The LHC, and inspired me to believe that I could grow my hair as long as I wished, with proper care. I came upon your site in Dec. of '05, while looking for a way out of the "chemical conundrum" I'd found myself trapped in. I visited your site every day.Your smart, and funny posts always brightened my day. I enjoyed reading about you growing gourds and hair!

I don't think we've met, but I've spent happy times at stressless tresses enjoying the pictures and the pearls of wisdom. Harpgal recently presented me with the cyber scissors because I wanted to cut away 2-3 inches because it's not perfect. Well it's not! I have splits!

I also found LHC through Stressless Tresses! *After* I'd done my chop. The cyberscissors were too late for me. But now I think I'm at terminal, at least I never seem to measure any longer and the styles stay the same. You'll enjoy your growing-out trip again I'm sure! (which is pretty much what I wrote on your other thread)

I couldn't agree more!
I just went to browse some hairsites in general and picked yours from my bookmarks just to see if it was up again. And there it was!

I absolutely love to see you again, even though I'm not much on the boards these days (long days and I also cut my hair, not sure what to do with it yet).

Love, Niph

Yay, KM is back!
(need those dancing smilies from TLHC, and the squeezy-smoochie one, and . . . yep, all those. )

No reason you should remember me, but I've missed your contributions.

Just wanted to add to the echoes of "Welcome Back!"
