I don't know what's causing the bumps, maybe the oils you're using are too rich?
Ever since I started putting Vitamin E facial oil before I go to bed, any pink acne scars I've had seem to have nearly faded completely.

Dear, you must stand over a skin one hour before bedtime, and apply two or three tablespoons of organic milk to your face until it is completely wet. The skin will catch the drips. Then take a little ground nutmeg and apply to your face. The milk will help it to stick to your face. Leave it there for an hour.

I put honey on my red acne scars over night to "bleach" them and it works fine.

Aloe vera is very good for getting rid of the redness associated with the acne (I get the cyst ones too). For the scarring, I don't use it myself, but shea butter is used in creams for strech marks and scars.
