Smiley tough skin!

You might remember me talking on LHC about my skin getting tough from months of silicon supplements. I finally got to test it. I pulled out a packet of frozen blackberry pulp (the Home Economist is out of açaí smoothie packs) and cut the corner off with a knife. The knife slipped and hit my thumb with full force. The result was a mere superficial bloodless scratch, not even as bad as a paper cut. It's healing fast too.

Wow, Full force, and not a scratch?...thats some tough skin you have there, or was the knife dull? Silicon to the rescue !

I sharpen it every several days. It's not freshly sharpened, but it's still fairly sharp. The scratch is still visible and has a red area around it.
