Default Does anyone else not wear makeup?

I don't wear makeup and sometimes feel alone in this choice b/c every girl here where I live wear lots. Its not that I don't like makeup (although I do somewhat disagree with the whole principal behind it but won't start on that ). I like to "dress up" and wear makeup sometimes but usually just go natural or with some sheer lipgloss and blush if I look washed out and tired. Just wondering if anyone else prefered an all natual look?

I don't wear makeup. But I love eyeliner, so if I have something special to go to I'll put a little on. This is rare though. Sometimes I wish I was the kind of girl who wore makeup because I really like playing with eyeliner, but I just don't wear it. The last time I wore eyeliner was for a party with the cast of my musical at a restaurant and that was back in February. Before that I probably hadn't worn any makeup out for over a year.

Usually I just stick with chapstick.

Absolutely nothing wrong with no makeup. Actually, even though I do wear makeup regularly, I love the "healthy" flushed or slightly tanned look I get after running or hiking. If I looked like that 24/7, I'd probably go without makeup all the time except for special occasions, I imagine.

Lately I've been trying to learn makeup, mainly because I do some modeling for my husband's photography hobby. However, aside from that, I don't wear makeup. It's too much bother, I'm not good at it, I spend far too much time touching my face (smearing everything!), I prefer looking natural, and the no-makeup look allows me to blend in with the other physicists. I won't feel like I've learned makeup properly until it looks like I'm not wearing any at all.

Does chapstick count? I consider that more like an obsessive personal habit than actual makeup.

Measure twice, cut once.

I'd given up on make-up until this year, after discovering the joys (and fun) of Mineral Make-up. This stuff is great, is doesn't rub off on your clothes, or melt off in summer heat, but yet washes off easily with just plain old water. It helps acne, oily skin, rosacea (sp?) . It looks WAY more natural than regular make-up and it only takes a tiny TINY amount to get a full coverage. It's safe to sleep in...I could go on and on....

I stopped using make-up a long time ago. It just wasn't me.
It also saves time in the morning.

I don't wear makeup, except lip gloss, and I'm not sure that counts. Sometimes, I will put on dark red lipstick for fun. Eye makeup irriates my eyes. My mother has had problems getting styes in her eyelids from wearing eye makeup every day. I don't want to deal with that. I am too perfectionistic to wear makeup. If I wore it, I'd spend a half hour every morning making it look right. Most of the time, I like how I look naturally.

I don't wear makeup. I have in the past, for performances (plays and dance recitals... yes, I used to dance) and dressy occasions like... proms, basically. In fact, I didn't wear makeup to my senior prom (no time) and I don't think I bothered with it for my ex-boyfriend's prom, either. So it's been several years since I wore makeup. It's too much effort, and I don't really know how to use it, and I'm sure it would clog my pores. I am being tempted by mineral makeup lately though I would love to be able to hide my acne while helping it... but it still seems like so much effort, and so much time in the morning, and money that I could be spending on hair toys and BPAL!

I don't wear a lot of make up, but I own waaaay more than I should (considering how seldom I wear it).

When I work or most of the time when I'm going out I'll put on a moisturizer with sun screen, mascara (2-3 coats) and lipstick. I rarely reapply lipstick.

I own a bazillion packs of eye shadow, blush, tubes of lipstick, eye liner (pencil and tube).

I tried mineral make up, but it *did* get on a shirt and I can't get it off. <pout> I'll probably be getting rid of what's left of my stash pretty soon.
