![]() I'm thinking of dusting DD's face with a sparkly white eyeshadow I have for tonight, since she'll be dressed as a fairy. Do y'all think that'd be ok or would it be bad as young as she is? She's almost 2 years old...

![]() I put sparkly eyeshadow on my daughter. She is three, and she wants to be like mommy. I don't see anything wrong with it.

![]() Products made as cosmetics are tested thoroughly to make sure they're safe.
I've used makeup, grease pencils, and eyeliner on my daughter (for her skeleton and cat costumes last year when she was 2) and she has very sensitive skin, but had no problems. |

![]() I guess I don't see a big deal either way. It's just a bit of sparkle on her face and if it doesn't bug her or get in her eyes, then what's the matter with it? OTOH, I also don't think little kids have any need to go as all-out with costuming as adults-- people will think she's cute without it and wouldn't expect her to wear makeup to "complete the look." (and there is something to be said for saving some things as "this is something grownups do and you will be able to do when you're older.") Don't see why anybody should've had a problem with it.

![]() I don't think it would hurt anything.
