Franny, I like lavender too. It's a very soothing and comforting scent.

When I was younger I used Kenzo Dt.
Then I used DG first scent.
I love Lempickas perfumes.

My signature scent is La Dolce Vita by Dior.

Ive sent for many samples from the Goth Rosary. Ill tell you which is my favorite when I get them.

Since starting this thread almost a year ago, I've decided to abandon the attempt to find one signature scent, instead I've started amassing a large collection of perfumes so I can choose which one to wear based on the season (but sometimes it's based on a whim. )

I've really enjoyed collecting perfumes, sniffing them seems to form new neural pathways in my brain, awaking old scent memories and making new ones. Anything to combat the recent perimenopausal brainfog LOL.

I have learned over the past year that I prefer fragrances in the chypre category. These are mossy, many describe them as "musty" or "old-ladyish." This category is not fashionable right now, so I've been exploring older perfumes.

Anyway, here are some full bottles that I own and are on regular rotation:

Azzaro Eau Belle
Caron Tabac Blond
Caron Royal Bain de Caron
Gres Cabaret
Gres Cabochard
Guerlain Eau de Cologne Impériale
Guerlain Mitsouko
Guerlain Terracotta Voile d'Ete
Hermes Eau d'Orange Verte
Jean Couturier Coriandre
Jean Patou Colony
Pierre Balmain Jolie Madame
Robert Piguet Bandit
Yves Saint Laurent Y

I've got more full bottles, dozens of decants and I haven't counted the sample vials, but these are the ones most used.

p.s. I would LOVE to find a bottle of Diorling, check your mother's/grandmother's dresser to see if she would like to sell hers...
