hehe, skinny pants (well, I always see them skinny) that cut off right at or right above the ankle.

Thanks for answering my question snowbird. I was really curious. I kept picturing mosquitos in my head... you know "ankle biters"?

That's a good one. I don't know what I'll do when the lighter, stonewashed jeans come back in style *gag*. I've gone three or four years without wearing jeans before, guess I'll have to do it again. I refuse to wear light denim.

Long, swirly gypsy skirts, hoop earrings, comfy sandals.

Heh, they're long gone, but I love my baggy wide-leg pants, and they're quite flattering on me. They hid a bit of my excessively curvy hips, and paired with a fitted shirt still give the impression of a nice figure underneath.

Those new long shirts make me look like I'm wearing a dress. Ugh. I know they look good on most people though.

Long Hair, Boot Cut Jeans, ...I think that's it for me. I haven't needed to buy new clothes in a couple of seasons now so I have no idea what's in style. I'm always suprised when I go to a clothing store.

Oh, I tried on one of those shirts that wrap at the top, then there's a band below the chest, then it's free flowing to past the hips. Looked terrible on me!! I always look pregnant in shirts like that. Even when I don't have a belly (so it's worse right now!!)

Ugh. Can't stand the style, either. Empire waists are supposed to be flattering, they're certainly everywhere, but they always make me look pregnant.

ETA: Suppose I should take that over to the "trends we hope die quickly" thread.
