Default Nivea Creme

Anyone have any comments on this product? I discovered it on the counter at home and rescued it from the abandonment of my mom...

I'm refering to the one in the blue container with white writing... the 'original' one... I'm pretty curious about it

Anyone?

I love it cause itīs full of childhood memories - the smell takes me right back...

Apart from that: Well, itīs not very natural. I prefer simple oils for my skin nowadays. I do keep a can of Nivea out of nostalgia, though.

My Mom used to use it too, back in the day So yes, childhood memories galore. The scent formulation has hardly changed all these years. I don't use it myself as the brand is somewhat oily on my skin and doesn't absorb in as much as I'd like.

Hehe. I love that stuff. I use it if I make a big mess with my eyemakeup. Put a bit on a q-tip, rub on the undereye area, then put on my concealer.

I don't use it anywhere else on my face unless I have extrememly dry skin.

I have a nice childhood memory of Nivea too. Once I got badly sunburned while on a family camping trip in Italy. My sleeping bag had sand in it, I was miserable! The next day Mom bought a tin of Nivea (does it still come in a tin?) and slathered me in it. The burn went away, turned into a nice tan and never did peel. Good stuff!

As a teenager I would buy it in a clear glass bottle. It would seperate and would have to be shaked well to get it to emulsify. Too oily for my face.

I love Nivea lotion. Smells divine and keeps the skin so soft!

I have used almost every brand in the book; and now I am using Neutrogena, which seems to be doing as good a job as anything else ever did, and is much less expensive, SP3 15 wrinkle protector is working well, even though we haven't had a whole lot of sunny weather here.

I think that stuff is great. Especially on dry skin.
