I have a problem with my fingers/nails/cuticles. Where the flesh of your finger starts, right behind your nails (not beneath), where the cuticle should be...the cuticles are pulling back and detaching. So every time I reach into my purse or a bag or whatever, I tear them up, and they bleed.
Anyone have any suggestion for a specific product to fix that?
(I'm taking vitamin E already.)
Also, anyone know if it could be a mild allergic reaction, since I wore rubber gloves a lot last weekend and I know I have a mild latex allergy?

I suppose an allergy is a possibility. But, I am not a doctor, so please don't take what I say as medical fact. If you are concerned about a reaction because of an allergy, I suggest you call your doctor and talk to him or her.
If your cuticles are very dry, lots of moisturising will help them. I use hand lotion all day long and I am careful to rub it into my cuticles well each time I use it. Shea butter is wonderful for helping to resotre your cuticles, too. Just melt a little in your hand and work it into your cuticles well and follow up with lotion.
Wearing gloves when you do housework and wash dishes will also help.
