Do you wear your liner on the outside of your lid or the inside? - Page 3

I was told that if I wore liner on the inside of my lid, I risked clogging the tear ducts. Although I was also told that if I swallowed gum, I'd never digest it. So I've always worn it on the outside. Different colours and forms (liquid, pencil, powder) for different occasions.

When I do wear eyeliner it's always on the ledge of my bottom lash. I can't seem to be able to make anything else look good. I'm a klutz when it comes to eyeliner.

Outside on the top lid..
I tend to look like I've been crying if I put it on the inside.. and - it doesn't stay put for very long..

I wear it on the outside of my upper lid, outside my bottom lid, AND on the waterline. I like eyeliner!

I rarely wear liner, but when I do, it's on the outside of my upper lid and just the outside edge of my lower lid. I have very small eyes and when I try wearing it on the inside, it just makes them look smaller.

I can only wear brown liner; anything else looks too harsh on me for some reason. Not very exciting.

MMU girls, have you tried mixing your liner shadows with Visine? Holy crow! What a difference! Mixed with water, my liner always ended up transferring to my crease, a bit by the end of the day. No more. Visine locks it in place. But it still washes off easily.

Oh ShermieGirl, how clever and if you poke your eye while applying it, then the Visine helps get the red out.

When I was younger it was both! Then for about 10 years I just wore it on the outside. Recently I saw a video on videojug.com (I'm not sure about content for the whole site so I'm not linking but the video was easy to find) about applying to the inside of the upper lashes which was all new for me. It gives a much more subtle effect though so that's what I'm doing now.
