Do you wear your liner on the outside of your lid or the inside?

The plum looked very nice on me but I felt it made my eyes look rather sunken in. I guess I have to change my colors with my age.

I try to line in the lash line and just outside.

Umpteen years ago I used blue liner inside the lashline, especially under my blue eyes, but not anymore. I also used to use Kohl inside, I was quite snobbish about using only Indian Khol. It did make the whites of my eyes look very white, and the blue looked very blue.

Now, I use Bare Escentuals liner shadows, I have very fair skin, blue eyes, and light ash brown hair. My lashes are almost blonde

I love their Eyeshadows and liners.

I also love that retractable soft focus liner brush, it's soft and has an edge that's about 1/8" wide.

Actually, I can't get away with black liner, or even dark brown. It makes me look quite harsh. But then, I kinda look harsh to begin with
I love dark purples. But I really can't wear liner on the inner rims of my eyes because it all comes off and ends up collecting in the inner corners of my eyes. Not a pretty look.

I wear it on the top and sometimes on the bottom, but absolutely never on the inside rim...I get eye infections really easy, and find that when I do THAT I get them more often...I love jazzing things up by changing the liner color...I also use wet and dry...You can make any solid eyeshadow into wet by adding water

I wear it on the inside mostly. Does not look harsh on me though, in fact I like it because its so subtle. Make my eyes look less slim.
I wear khol on my upper eyelids when I go out though.

Yesterday I wore dark green on the inside of my lower lid and light green underneath the lower lashes and it looked very nice. I hadn't tried that before, I always think if I put liner on top or bottom, I have to balance it out on the other, but not necessarily, since it looked very pretty.

I used to wear black on the inside but I found out with blue eyes that blue liner looks better and my eyes stand out far more.

I still line on the inside but with blue now.

I also found out that blck liner on women that have brown/dark brown eyes really stand out, and blue on blue same. Interesting..

Maybe I'm stuck in a rut, but I always use black liquid eye liner on the outside.

I usually only wear eyeliner on the top, and I always put it on the outside of my eye. I never could do the inside - my eyes are too sensitive.

I find that putting a line that goes from thin (near the nose) to wide (on the outer side) makes my eyes look bigger and more elegant.

I think liner : color and application is individual. Some the outside and some the inside, I think both ways look good.
