Do you wash new sheets before using them? - Page 2

Oh gawd if it smelled that bad I'd leave it too. I just can't stand chemical smells. And the stiff crunchy fabric. Also, if I wash a set of sheets and they don't feel soft AND thick, back to the store they go. I hate cheap sheets.

All the finishes and things they put on clothes and material to make it look good when selling, I'm washing anything I am going to be up close and personal, I can have a reaction to some of the things they "treat" things with.

I wash them before putting them on my bed, they less stiff, and smell much better.

I usually don't wash, but I don't buy a lot of clothes or bedding or whatever, either. A lot of what I buy nowadays (regarding clothing/bedding/etc) is custom made or tailored to my specifications, so I feel less need to wash. :shrug:

I wash them to make them softer, less crunchy to sleep on. Plus who knows where they have been before you bought them.

I'm lazy - if it looks clean and smells fine I'm not washing it.
