Cottage cheese is full of protein, which is good! I'm not sure about yogurt (it has some protein, but not a ton) but it's generally good for health, especially digestive health!

I, er, may have rubbed some yogurt on my hair and scalp once. My hair absolutely loved it! I haven't tried it since, though... felt really strange rubbing yogurt on my head...

Of course, everybody knows that water is the key for healthy hair, and for that matter, skin! But it's a big one (even if it isn't a "food")!

Heh! Well, I do the crazy "monistat" thing too, so I'm willing to try rubbing most things on my head if I think it'll be beneficial for my hair... actually, I think placenta (at least, concept wise) is much worse in my mind, to rub on my head, than a nice innocent thing like yogurt. I think the yogurt works a bit like mayonnaisse (mine was full fat), protein and moisture all at once. Smelled nicer, too. But as I said, I haven't done it but the one time... and I still do mayo treatments regularly.

Over on LHC there was a thread with a link explaining how yogurt benefits the hair when applied to it. I have to say that i've found every time i've used it my hair has been wonderful.

chloeishere I didn't meant to be rude, I'm just not one for putting too many creamy things on my head, not brave enough to try mayo Besides I'd be too busy eating the yummy yoghurt, esp full cream - yummy. Putting it on my head might be much better for my waist line
